FIRST IN-PERSON CAREER EXPO IN THE WASHINGTON DC METRO REGION AFTER THE PANDEMIC
The Northern Virginia Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce is connecting the Washington, DC Metro top employers with the most sought-after job candidates on October 21, 2021.
According to the U.S Department of Labor, Hispanic Americans are 49% of the labor force. The Northern Virginia Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce (NOVAHCC) will host its annual Hispanic Career Expo connecting of job seekers with new and exciting opportunities in the private and public sectors.
“The Great Resignation” has motivated 1 in 4 employees to pursue new jobs, and bilingual Hispanics are among the most desired job candidates projected to account for 78% of new workers by 2030 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. On Thursday, October 21, the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), Fairfax County, Chase, CareFirst, and other top employers will look to recruit Hispanic talent and fill immediate openings.
